Trust & Security

Aliaso turns emails into texts. Here is a simple explanation of what we save, how your messages are protected, and how you control your texts.

What we store and why

When an email reaches your Aliaso address, we save the sender, subject, preview, and message so we can send the text and let you read the full email. We use your phone number to deliver those texts. We do not store email attachments.

Your account stays separate

Your messages, Aliaso addresses, and phone numbers are tied to your account. Other customers cannot see them.

Private emails require sign-in

Turn on Private for any alias to require a sign-in before the full email opens. The text will still show the subject line.

You control your texts

Reply STOP to pause Aliaso texts and START to receive them again. You can also pause or delete an alias from your account. We confirm your phone number before sending any texts.

How texts are delivered

We use RCS when it is available and regular SMS when it is not. Before sending, we check your phone number, text settings, and monthly limit.

Email content is checked

We remove unsafe parts of an email before showing it. Each email link also uses a long, unique code that is difficult to guess.

What Aliaso does not do

  • We do not sell or share your phone number, email content, or alias data with third parties for marketing.
  • We do not send messages to a number that has opted out or has not been verified.
  • We do not send more texts after your monthly limit unless you have turned on extra text packs and chosen a spending limit.
  • We do not claim any third-party security certification or compliance on your behalf.
